Vienneau Insurance acquires employee benefits division
Vienneau Insurance has expanded their commercial insurance offering by acquiring the Employee Benefits Division of RoyByrns and Associates. RoyByrns was best known in the area of employee benefits as an authorized agent for the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Plan, offering this exclusive product to a number of Chambers of Commerce throughout New Brunswick. Vienneau Insurance will continue to serve these Chambers, as well as offer group benefits to other local businesses who may not fit this plan.
“This is great news for our commercial insurance clients, as it really makes us a one-stop-shop for business insurance,” said Vienneau Insurance president, Marc Leger. “Not to mention that the territory aligns perfectly with our own four locations here in southeastern New Brunswick.”
RoyByrns co-founders Garry Roy and Allen Byrns say they are confident that their Employee Benefits clients will be well taken care of. “We wanted to ensure a seamless transition for our clients, and we know this is what they will get with Vienneau Insurance,” stated Byrns. “They share our same values when it comes to maintaining a high level of service and integrity.”
Vienneau Insurance will operate this division under the newly-created Vienneau Financial Services subsidiary. They will retain the services of the RoyByrns’ existing Employee Benefits Specialist, Susan Babineau, who will supplement their existing team of advisors.
RoyByrns and Associates will continue to operate under their existing name, and will focus on providing financial planning, investments, and individual life and disability insurance.
