Shediac, NB – Vienneau Insurance is best known as a long-time local provider of insurance solutions, but in recent years they have also become known as “that Worry Pas company”.  They adopted the popular Acadian saying as their corporate slogan several years ago, incorporating it into all their advertising. “It just really speaks to our corner of the world, and works perfectly with our company’s mission of providing piece of mind to our clients.” says Vienneau president, Marc Leger.

After a couple of years of toying with the idea, today they launch the “Le Worry Pas Store”. The e-commerce site will offer “Worry Pas”-branded items to the general public, with all profits going to a local charity as chosen by the company.  “That’s when I got onboard with the idea” stated Leger, “We had no interest in trying to turn this into a money-maker for ourselves, but figured if we could raise a few dollars for charity, then let’s give it a go!“  To pick what charity they will support, they hold an annual draw amongst employees who have put in time volunteering in the past year. The winner of the draw gets to pick the charity for the calendar year. This year’s beneficiary is the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Center, as chosen by Michelle LeBlanc of their Shediac office.

The store’s offerings currently include branded t-shirts, hoodies, ball caps, and water bottles.  “It’s something we will likely expand upon in the future, and we’re open to suggestions.” says Leger.
